Remediation

Once all the contamination is defined in a structure the mold contaminated materials must be removed. This is best done by a certified remediation company who can isolate their removal areas and scrub the air of mobilized spores. Only protected individuals should be in the building when the remediation is in progress. Retesting, using spore counters, is necessary before rebuilding the areas to certify the property is mold free.
